Other Types of Lightning

     Let's start this out with ball lightning.  Most people do not see ball lightning and some scientist are convinced that it doesn't even exist.  There are reports of a sphere that is electrical in nature.  It is said to generally be the size of a bowling ball.  Scientist have not been able to tell how it comes into existence or what the nature of this thing really is.  It seems to just roll around a bit then disappear suddenly. 

    Now onto heat lightning.  Heat lightning, also known as sheet lightning, is nothing more than cloud-to-cloud lightning or in-cloud lightning.  This lightning seems special because it is so far away that you can not hear the thunder.
